Bulbophyllum maxillare red/yellow form – A stunning species orchid featuring distinctive cherry red flowers with elegant yellow accents on the petals that mimic the charming shape of Masdevallia blooms.

This is the beautiful cherry red with yellow on the petals form of Bulb. maxillare as described in the AOS Orchids bulletin (August 2020). We previously sold this as B. blumei, and the purple with white margin form as B. masdevalianum. The flowers showcase a unique Masdevallia-like shape that sets them apart from typical Bulbophyllum blooms, creating an eye-catching display of rich cherry red beautifully accented with bright yellow highlights.
